Merrick Pet Care Recalls Texas Hold'ems 10 oz Bag
Merrick Pet Care pulls more beef treats. This time they announced a recall of their Beef Filet Squares for Dogs (Texas Hold'em) due to a potential risk of Salmonella contamination. The distributors have been notified to start their recall procedures. Look for "Lot # 10127 Best By May 6, 2012" on top and bottom of the bag. No cases of illness have been reported so far but you can never bee to careful. It is always a good idea to pay extra attention to these pet food recalls. CINCINNATI, July 25, 2010 - The Procter & Gamble Company (P&G) (NYSE:PG), is voluntarily recalling two specific lots of its prescription renal dry cat food as a precautionary measure, as it has the potential to be contaminated with salmonella.
